Turning ho-hum into sunshine. At the time of this writing, it is a dreary February day and hopes for seeing the sun could be dashed by a gloomy weather forecast. I was drawn to this pattern because, it’s so…cute. What a great way to usher in spring and summer. Look at these buttons. Aren’t they delightful!
The skirt is made with “crocheted” shells that create a luscious texture intensified by the cotton/bamboo yarn. The white grosgrain ribbon woven in-and-out of chain loops adds the finishing touch to the empire waist.
