Scarves, scarves, scarves can we ever have enough scarves? Here in Nebraska we love scarves. They are not only beautiful but functional. What I love about the Ladder Scarf pattern is that it is easy and you can knit it in a soft, cuddly merino wool to keep away the chill in winter or a cotton/linen blend for the warmer seasons. Oh- did I mention it was easy? You can knit this up in an evening or weekend. Pow!
The scarf design has tapering ends which would lend well to adding pom poms on the ends. The sample shown is for an adult and is approximately 9inches wide by 60 inches long, but you could make it shorter for a child. Wouldn’t it look great in a beautiful, colorful colorway with matching pom poms?
Have fun with this one and experiment. We are offering the pattern free for 5 days so download it now.
