Series: The Creation of Grace Elizabeth’s Bed & Breakfast (#4 in a series of 4)
Today is my last in this series of “The Creation of Grace Elizabeth’s Bed & Breakfast.” It has been quite an adventure purchasing a property with possibilities (go now on this site), remodeling both the cottage and the main house to open a bed & breakfast, and getting the privilege of meeting people from all over the world as they stayed in the B&B.
As our children started leaving the nest so to speak we realized our lifestyle began to change and it was time to downsize. In the winter of 2010 we had decided to put the house and property up for sale but I took on the Interim Director position at the Minden Opera House and the sale was put on hold. Early fall a permanent Director was hired and we put the house on the market. As of this writing it is still on the market. Just click for more sellors & buyers available in your locality. If you are planning to invest in a new property, you may need the services of conveyancing solicitors to help ensure that all the legal real estate documents will be prepared properly.
As our realtor, Theresa Delaet G.R.I, states: what a gem in excellent condition. This classic house is known for a bed and breakfast. Utilize for your family home, and have guests stay in the cottage house out back. Main home has striking features such as beautiful wood floors, pocket doors, staircase, wood burning fireplace, 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Many updates to this home make it even more impressive. Don’t forget the 3+ acres with a barn. Fort Lauderdale Realtor selling home is what you need to check out the best deals when it comes to property.
Take a look at the virtual tour of our house and pass it on to others. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the transformation. My next series will go into some details of the improvements we made to the property. We are firm believers that you leave a place better than you found it!
Until next time…
Sonya Kay
