After what seemed to be the longest year of school ever… I’m finally out! At 11:15 on Tuesday morning I walked out of Minden High a senior. With my entire summer ahead of me I am pretty excited. No I may not have a job or a hobby to keep me busy through the next couple months, instead I am keeping my schedule free since this will be one of the last times it will ever be (plus I will be helping Alex with her last wedding projects). I must admit that the past few days of being out of school has been pretty boring. I’m not officially settled into a summer schedule. I have been waking up at 8 every morning, but never start my day until much later. Hopefully as summer gets going I find things to do! I have a few projects I would like to get done and plenty of reading to do! Wish me luck!

Mackenzie is a member of the GE Creative Team and is the youngest of the trio of sisters. As a recent graduate in Family Studies, she uses her degree as the wife of a youth pastor and mentors teen girls. She’s a Nebraska girl living through North Dakota winters mostly by crocheting and sipping chai tea.
