I’m a recent college grad still figuring out what to do in life. I have to admit the main reason I chose the field of study Family Studies is because since I was a little girl the only career that stuck in my mind was being a wife and stay-at-home mom. Part one check! As of January 5, 2013, God gave me a wonderful husband Nathan. Part two is coming whenever God deems us ready.
As the youngest, I’ve had difficulty finding my own voice. The way I got around that was being the loudest and most obnoxious child. I sang (still do) everything I did. Now that I’ve matured (somewhat), I’m realizing that I don’t necessarily have to have different interests than my sisters. I can do the same types of things and still be an individual. I am hoping Grace Elizabeth’s shows the many ways we have similar passions but go about them differently. My favorite yarn craft at the moment is crochet.
I love to be active, especially outdoors. However, I very much dislike the cold, so during winter I rarely make it out of the apartment. Funny thing is that I moved to North Dakota in 2014. Winter is now much colder than even in Nebraska! But God has us doing amazing work with the youth in the community (my husband is a youth pastor).
I just came across your page while I was browsing through pinterest on painting mason jars. I just wanted to say that it is always so encouraging to find Christian women that are blogging. It is nice to see you share your faith as the world needs so much more of this. I just wanted to encourage you to keep on talking about the Lord. I am sure you will be blessed by this. Just a little bit about myself. I am a forty-five year old wife of almost twenty-five years and a mother of two wonderful children. I have known Jesus as my Savior ever since I was seven years old and have been very blessed all my life by Him. God bless your wonderful journey in life.
