Do you like gifting quilts? If you are a prolific quilter, gifting comes naturally, right?! Who can keep all that goodness for themselves? I wanted to share this gifted quilt with you and maybe inspire you to gift in the same way. We have friends who became foster parents to a young woman about to “age out” of the system. In my state, once a child turns 19, they are on their own. I felt prompted to make her a personalized quilt. It was important to give her a quilt that was made specifically for her. And since her name is on it, she has full claim to it. It is HER comfort blanket and she does not have to share it or leave it behind.
