1-Patch Charm is part of Grace Elizabeth’s Simply Classic Pattern Collection featuring well-known/classic quilt blocks. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a resource for you. If you are looking for a simple quilt, here it is. This classic 1-patch pattern uses a Charm Pack (a collection of 5” squares). However, if you want to use up some of your stash, simply cut 5” squares instead. The neutral background fabric pulls the look together.  This Pattern has instructions to make a baby-sized quilt measuring approximately 41′ x 48″. Have fun making this quilt and using it!

MATERIALS NEEDED

• 1 Charm Pack (or 30 – 5″ squares of various colors
• 1 1/8 yards of contrasting fabric for remaining 5″ squares, sashing and borders
• 1/4 yard Contrast Sashing corner squares
• Binding: 3/8 yard (enough for 2 1/2″ wide strips)
• Backing: 3 yards (horizontal seam – enough for longarm quilting)
• Batting
• Thread

The finished size is approximately 41″ x 48″
