FAQ About Longarm Quilting Service

WHAT’S NEXT? I WANT GRACE ELIZABETH’S TO QUILT MY QUILT…

  • Put down a deposit for the service (add Edge-to-Edge to the shopping cart and check out)
  • Complete “Order Form for Quilting Service” – this will communicate the details of design, thread color, backing, batting, etc.
  • Ship the quilt top (or deliver if local) and any other items you are providing (backing/batting) to Grace Elizabeth’s Studio



WHAT LONGARM QUILTING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?

  • Edge-to-Edge designs are offered from a simple all-over meander to themed pantographs. Your quilt will be quilted on a computerized Bernina longarm quilting machine.
  • Semi-custom and Custom quilting are available.
  • Other services offered: Binding, backing preparation, and more – Current Pricing is available HERE. 


HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HAVE MY QUILT QUILTED?
Allow 2-3 weeks for completion of quilt. We will let you know if our time frame needs to be extended.

WHAT IF I NEED MY QUILT QUILTED NOW? CAN I MOVE TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE?

  • YES – Sometimes life throws us a curve ball and we need something done yesterday. Please email sonya@graceelizabeth.com & we will determine whether we can accommodate and make all the arrangements. There will be an extra $35 for moving you to the front of the line. 


HOW DO I PREPARE MY QUILT TOP FOR A QUILTING SERVICE?
It’s very important that your quilt top (and backing and binding if you are preparing them) is ready to be quilted before shipping it to GE. Please read how to prepare your quilt top on this PAGE 

I AM LOCAL, CAN I STOP BY AND DISCUSS A PLAN TO QUILT MY QUILT? 
It is always a pleasure to work with you in creating a design plan that will complement your quilt and fit your budget. Please contact me at sonya@graceelizabeths.com to schedule an appointment to drop off your quilt top and discuss the quilting plan. You can view most of the available Edge-to-edge designs online here. You will want to take a look at them before you arrive.

I HAVE AN EDGE-TO-EDGE DESIGN IN MIND BUT I DON’T SEE IT AS AN OPTION. CAN I STILL GET IT? 
The answer is PROBABLY. I will need to see if it is available for my machine. Provide me with specifics (picture, and if possible…design name, designer, website you saw it) and I will get back to you. Special request designs start at $10. The main website I purchase designs from is Urban Elementz.
