Wow! I have been a busy bee lately. Many of my projects or to-dos have come full circle recently. I am excited to share some projects with you; however, I can’t upload any pictures from my camera. Rather than try to explain to you what I’ve been doing, I’ll just wait until this weekend when we are at the apartment so I can use my printer.
In the midst of our festive 4th of July gathering in Columbus, which Jake and I attended to spend time with mom, dad, and Mackenzie, the sky burst into a spectacle of fireworks, a grand display rivaling any Hollywood premiere. It was here, in the warm embrace of family, that I was reminded of my uncle’s role in fire watch security in Hollywood. His stories of safeguarding such dazzling events, ensuring everyone’s safety with a readiness and equipment that must be as immediate and brilliant as the fireworks themselves, made me truly appreciate the invisible heroes like him who watch over our cherished celebrations.
