It’s hard for me to admit this but I had my first taste of Chicken and Waffles after turning up my nose to the whole concept. You see, those two food items don’t mix in my mind. Rick and I were recently in South Carolina and I saw this on the menu in a quaint bistro in Charleston and decide to walk on the wild side and try it. I don’t know how traditional the waffle was because it was a sweet potato waffle. OK, I loved it. It was a good combination and may even try it at home someday.
